Jesus Will Return to the Earth
This is our fundamental hope. When Jesus was taken up to heaven, 40 days after he had been resurrected, understandably his disciples were upset, an angel said to them that Jesus would return: “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11(NIV). The Bible constantly talks about the time when God will send his son from heaven to set up a Godly, peaceful kingdom. This kingdom will be on earth.
We want Jesus to come back so that we will be able to worship God properly and that all problems will be taken away for ever.
